There have been many occasions that I have been compared to a magpie, what can I say? I like shiny things – they’re pretty – and most attract my eye with ease.
Now I’m not a massive fan of gold, on the basis that it’s just too expensive for me to get my hands on a statement (but not over-flashy) piece. Subtlety and simplicity is what I like. For this reason I would say I’m more over a silver girl. I was recently walking around Debenhams in between all the beauty concessions and slowly drifted over to the jewellery. I’ve done this many times and usually just come across either costume of occasion jewellery , so when I saw a sign for Simply Silver by Jon Richard I was over the moon!
What I love about the Simply Silver range, other than it being sterling silver, (yep, .925 – for anyone looking for hallmarks I already checked!), is its affordability and practicality. The jewellery is simple yet elegant. And to be honest I’ve been back a few times and bought more rings; a girl can never have enough rings. On top of crazy affordable prices I also managed to dip in when there was a sale too! So it wasn’t just a bargain, it was a discounted bargain – three rings, two necklaces and one pair of earrings less than £55!
As if anyone needed to ask me I currently have a little crush on this brand and will be making a few more trips. I’ve found that I’m able to layer up the rings so it’s only right that I get a couple more if I have other fingers.
Where do you get your jewellery from?
