Marc Jacobs Divine Decadence

Iconic perfume bottles have always been a thing and if there was one I’ve come across that I know I won’t ever be able to tear myself apart from, it’s Marc Jacobs Divine Decadence. I’m a sucker for a pretty thing and this bottle is right up there at the top of my list with its handbag design, chain ‘strap’ and tassel.

Last year I was introduced to the amazing smelling fragrance that is Marc Jacobs Decadence, this year I’ve been introduced to the slightly fresher smelling follow up – Divine Decadence*. Which has top notes of champagne, orange blossom and bergamot; heart notes of gardenia, hydrangea accord, honeysuckle, iris; and base notes of saffron, vanilla, liquid amber.

Yes, that says champagne and that is exactly what you can smell. The whole combination of the notes delivers a sparkling scent that still captures all the glamour of the original Decadence fragrance and you only need a couple of spritzes because the fragrance lasts all day!

With Christmas on the way (something I am STILL struggling to accept!) Divine Decadence not only is the perfect sent for the party season but also one of the prettiest gifts. A 30ml bottle costs £49 but to make it extra special, The Perfume Shop offers the option to engrave the bottle at 50ml for £69 or 100ml for £96. Regardless of which size you chose you’ll not be disappointed.

This is probably my favourite Marc Jacobs fragrance now, I love the scent but let’s be honest, I was captivated by the bottle – love at first sight and all that.
